मोटर यान अधिनियम की धारा 63 — राज्य मोटर यान संबंधी रजिस्टरों का रखा जाना –
– प्रत्येक राज्य सरकार, ऐसे प्ररूप में जो केन्द्रीय सरकार विहित करे, राज्य मोटर यान रजिस्टर के रूप में ज्ञात एक रजिस्टर उस राज्य में के मोटर यानों के संबंध में रखेगी, जिसमें निम्नलिखित विशिष्टियां अन्तर्विष्ट होंगी :-
(क) रजिस्ट्रीकरण संख्यांक;
(ख) विनिर्माण के वर्ष;
(ग) वर्ग और प्रकार;
(घ) रजिस्ट्रीकृत स्वामियों के नाम और पते; और
(ङ) ऐसी अन्य विशिष्टियां जो केन्द्रीय सरकार द्वारा विहित की जाए ।
63 MV Act — Maintenance of State Registers of motor vehicles —
Each State Government shall maintain in such form as may be prescribed by the Central Government a register to be known as the State Register of Motor Vehicles, in respect of the motor vehicles in that State, containing the particulars including–
(a) registration numbers;
(b) years of manufacture;
(c) classes and types;
(d) names and addresses of registered owners; and
(e) such other particulars as may be prescribed by the Central Government.
