इस अधिनियम के वे अध्याय और धाराएं, जो संविदाओं से सम्बन्धित हैं, भारतीय संविदा अधिनियम, 1872 (1872 का 9) का भाग मानी जाएंगी।
तथा धारा 54, पैरा 2 और 3 और धाराएं 59, 107 और 123 भारतीय रजिस्ट्रीकरण अधिनियम, 1908 (1908 का 16)] के अनुपूरक के रूप में पढ़ी जाएंगी।]
Section 4 TPA – Enactments relating to contracts to be taken as part of Contract Act and supplemental to the Registration Act –
he Chapters and sections of this Act which relate to contracts shall be taken as part of the Indian Contract Act, 1872 (9 of 1872):
