सीआरपीसी की धारा 477 — उच्च न्यायालय की नियम बनाने की शक्ति —
(1) प्रत्येक उच्च न्यायालय राज्य सरकार की पूर्व मंजूरी से निम्नलिखित के बारे में नियम बना सकेगा–
(क) वे व्यक्ति जो उसके अधीनस्थ दण्ड न्यायालयों में अर्जी लेखकों के रूप में काम करने के लिए अनुज्ञात किए जा सकेंगे;
(ख) ऐसे व्यक्तियों को अनुज्ञप्ति दिए जाने, उनके द्वारा कामकाज करने और उनके द्वारा ली जाने वाली फीसों के मापमान का विनियमन;
(ग) इस प्रकार बनाए गए नियमों में से किसी के उल्लंघन के लिए शास्ति उपबंधित करना और वह प्राधिकारी, जिसके द्वारा ऐसे उल्लंघन का अन्वेषण किया जा सकेगा और शास्तियाँ अधिरोपित की जा सकेंगी, अवधारित करना;
(घ) कोई अन्य विषय जिसका विहित किया जाना अपेक्षित है या जो विहित किया जाए।
(2) इस धारा के अधीन बनाए गए सब नियम राजपत्र में प्रकाशित किए जाएंगे।
Section 477 CrPC — Power of High Court to make rules —
(1) Every High Court may, with the previous approval of the State Government, make rules –
(a) as to the persons who may be permitted to act as petition-writers in the Criminal Courts subordinate to it;
(b) regulating the issue of licences to such persons, the conduct of business by them and the scale of fees to be charged by them;
(c) providing a penalty for a contravention of any of the rules so made and determining the authority by which such contravention may be investigated and the penalties imposed;
(d) any other matter which is required to be, or maybe, prescribed.
(2) All rules made under this section shall be published in the Official Gazette.
