हिन्दू विवाह अधिनियम की धारा 15 – कब विवाह-विच्छेद प्राप्त व्यक्ति पुनःविवाह कर सकेंगे-
जब कि विवाह-विच्छेद की डिक्री द्वारा विवाह विघटित कर दिया गया हो और या तो डिक्री के विरुद्ध अपील करने का कोई अधिकार ही न हो या यदि अपील का ऐसा अधिकार हो तो अपील करने के समय का कोई अपील उपस्थापित हुए बिना अवसान हो गया हो या अपील की तो गई हो किन्तु खारिज कर दी गई हो तब विवाह के किसी पक्षकार के लिए पुनःविवाह करना विधिपूर्ण होगा ।
Section 15 Hindu Marriage Act – Divorced persons when may marry again —
When a marriage has been dissolved by a decree of divorce and either there is no right of appeal against the decree or, if there is such a right of appeal, the time for appealing has expired without an appeal having been presented, or an appeal has been presented but has been dismissed, it shall be lawful for either party to the marriage to marry again.
