कोई भी लोक ऑफिसर उसे शासकीय विश्वास में दी हुई संसूचनाओं को प्रकट करने के लिए विवश नहीं किया जाएगा, जब कि वह समझता है कि उस प्रकटन से लोक हित की हानि होगी।
Section 124 Indian Evidence Act – Official communications —
No public officer shall be compelled to disclose communications made to him in official confidence, when he considers that the public interests would suffer by the disclosure.
