धारा 62 किशोर न्याय अधिनियम 2015 — अतिरिक्त प्रक्रियात्मक अपेक्षाएं और प्रलेखीकरण. –
( 1 ) भारत में रहने वाले भावी भारतीय दत्तक माता-पिता या अनिवासी भारतीय या भारत के विदेशी नागरिक या भारतीय मूल के व्यक्ति या भावी विदेशी दत्तक माता-पिता द्वारा किसी अनाथ, परित्यक्त और अभ्यर्पित बालक के दत्तक ग्रहण की बाबत ऐसा प्रलेखीकरण और अन्य प्रक्रियात्मक अपेक्षाएं, जो इस अधिनियम में अभिव्यक्त रूप से उपबंधित नहीं हैं, प्राधिकरण द्वारा विरचित दत्तकग्रहण के विनियमों के अनुसार होंगी ।
(2) विशिष्ट दत्तक ग्रहण अभिकरण या सुनिश्चित करेगा कि भावी दत्तक माता-पिता का दत्तक ग्रहण मामला आवेदन की प्राप्ति की तारीख से चार मास के भीतर निपटा दिया गया है और प्राधिकृत विदेशी दत्तक ग्रहण अभिकरण, प्राधिकरण और राज्य अभिकरण दत्तक ग्रहण मामले की प्रगति पर निगरानी रखेगा और जहां कहीं आवश्यक हो, उसमें हस्तक्षेप करेगा, जिससे समय-सीमा का अनुपालन सुनिश्चित किया जा सके ।
Section 62 Juvenile Justice Act 2015 — Additional procedural requirements and documentation —
(1) The documentation and other procedural requirements, not expressly provided in this Act with regard to the adoption of an orphan, abandoned and surrendered child by Indian prospective adoptive parents living in India, or by non-resident Indian or overseas citizen of India or person of Indian origin or foreigner prospective adoptive parents, shall be as per the adoption regulations framed by the Authority.
(2) The specialised adoption agency shall ensure that the adoption case of prospective adoptive parents is disposed of within four months from the date of receipt of application and the authorised foreign adoption agency, Authority and State Agency shall track the progress of the adoption case and intervene wherever necessary, so as to ensure that the time line is adhered to.
