केन्द्रीय सरकार, इलैक्ट्रानिक माध्यम के सुरक्षित उपयोग और ई-गवर्नेंस और ई-कामर्स के संवर्धन के लिए, गूढ़लेखन के ढंग या पद्धतियां विहित कर सकेगी ।
Section 84A IT Act 2000 –1 [Modes or methods for encryption.—
The Central Government may, for secure use of the electronic medium and for promotion of e-governance and e-commerce, prescribe the modes or methods for encryption.]
