मोटर यान अधिनियम की धारा 106 — यानों में पाई गई वस्तुओं का व्ययन —
जहां राज्य परिवहन उपक्रम द्वारा चलाए जा रहे किसी परिवहन यान में पाई गई किसी वस्तु पर उसके स्वामी द्वारा विहित अवधि के अन्दर दावा नहीं किया जाता वहां राज्य परिवहन उपक्रम उस वस्तु को विहित रीति से बेच सकेगा और उसके विक्रय-आगम, उसके स्वामी द्वारा उनकी मांग किए जाने पर, उनमें से विक्रय के आनुषंगिक खर्चे काटकर, उसे दे दिए जाएंगे।
106 MV Act — Disposal of articles found in vehicles —
Where any article found in any transport vehicle operated by the State transport undertaking is not claimed by its owner within the prescribed period, the State transport undertaking may sell the article in the prescribed manner and the sale proceeds thereof, after deducting the costs incidental to sale, shall be paid to the owner on demand.
