मोटर यान अधिनियम की धारा 135 — दुर्घटना के मामलों का अन्वेषण करने और मार्गस्थ सुख-सुविधाओं आदि के लिए स्कीमें बनाना —
(1) राज्य सरकार, राजपत्र में अधिसूचना द्वारा, निम्नलिखित के लिए उपबंध करने के लिए एक या अधिक स्कीमें बना सकेगी, अर्थात् :-
(क) मोटर यान दुर्घटनाओं के कारणों की बाबत गहन अध्ययन और विश्लेषण;
(ख) राजमार्गों पर मार्गस्थ सुख-सुविधाएं;
(ग) राजमार्गों पर यातायात सहायता चौकियां; [***]
(घ) राजमार्गों पर ट्रकों के खड़ा करने के लिए प्रक्षेत्र; और
(ङ) जनता की सुरक्षा और सुविधा के हितों में कोई अन्य सुविधाएं ।
(2) किसी राज्य सरकार द्वारा इस धारा के अधीन बनाई गई प्रत्येक स्कीम बनाए जाने के पश्चात् यथाशक्य शीघ्र राज्य विधान-मंडल के समक्ष रखी जाएगी।
(3) केन्द्रीय सरकार, राजपत्र में अधिसूचना द्वारा सड़क दुर्घटनाओं के कारणों और विश्लेषण के संबंध में गहन अध्ययन करने के लिए एक या अधिक स्कीमें बना सकेगी ।
135 MV Act — Schemes to be framed for the investigation of accident cases and wayside amenities, etc. —
(1) The State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, make one or more schemes to provide for–
(a) an in depth study on causes and analysis of motor vehicle accidents;
(b) wayside amenities on highways;
(c) traffic aid posts on highways;
(d) truck parking complexes along highways; and
(e) any other amenities in the interests of the safety and the convenience of the public.
(2) Every scheme made under this section by any State Government shall be laid, as soon as may be after it is made, before the State Legislature.
(3) The Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, make one or more schemes to conduct in-depth studies on the causes and analysis of road accidents.
