मोटर यान अधिनियम की धारा 155 — कतिपय वाद हेतुकों पर मृत्यु का प्रभाव —
भारतीय उत्तराधिकार अधिनियम, 1925 (1925 का 36) की धारा 306 में अंतर्विष्ट किसी बात के होते हुए भी, व्यक्ति जिसके पक्ष में बीमा प्रमाणपत्र जारी किया गया है की मृत्यु पर यदि ऐसी घटना जिसमें इस अध्याय के उपबंधों के अधीन दावों को उठाया गया है होने के पश्चात् यह घटित होता है उसकी संपदा या बीमाकर्ता के विरुद्ध उक्त घटना से उद्भूत किसी वाद हेतुक की उत्तरजीविका को वर्जित नहीं करेगा ।
155 MV Act — Effect of death on certain causes of action —
Notwithstanding anything contained in section 306 of the Indian Succession Act, 1925 (39 of 1925), the death of a person in whose favour a certificate of insurance had been issued, if it occurs after the happening of an event which has given rise to a claim under the provisions of this Chapter, shall not be a bar to the survival of any cause of action arising out of such event against his estate or against the insurer.
